Dave Huusko (Pastor)
I was born and raised in the East Bay area of San Francisco. First in a little town called Albany and at the age of 12 we moved out to Walnut Creek. Came up to Sac State and received my bachelor's degree in sociology, not completely sure if I was going into law enforcement or the ministry. My first choices for seminary were either Princeton or Fuller, but really felt called to attend San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo. This time of study and reflection really challenged the foundations of what I thought I believed and solidified my faith. I am deeply committed to preaching the word of God, because I truly believe it contains transforming good news for all of humanity.
Len Jones (Director of Worship, Music and Arts)
“And I’ll be the Poet who sings Your glory – and live what I sing every day.” - Psalms 61:8 (MSG)
I am originally from the desert - Arizona to be exact. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Management Information Systems. After several years in the tech world, I answered a long-time call of God into full time worship ministry. God eventually led me to complete graduate work (M.A. Worship & Theology) at Hope International University in Fullerton, CA. I believe Music and the arts are an incredible gift from the Lord and a language that connects all cultures and generations. Through our worship, lives are transformed: God's truth is revealed, we encounter Christ and we cannot help but respond freely to the moving of God’s Spirit in our hearts both as individuals and as a community of faith. I live with my wife Patty and our son Caleb.
Stacy Trevor (Office Administrator)
I was born is Southern California (Simi Valley) and grew up there, then attended college on the east coast in Virginia where I met my husband. We moved back to California in 1994 and have been attending Church here for many years. I love this church and am passionate about my faith and the things this church is accomplishing. If you call the church office, I'll do my best to help you find the information you need and help you get plugged-in to any of our varied ministries and activities.
Oldson Duclos (Outreach Coordinator)
Born and raised on the East Coast, Oldson is only six months into life on the West Coast. Originally, he's a Jersey boy from Newark, NJ. After completing his Bachelor's in Christian Counseling at Pillar College, Oldson went on to seminary at Cairn University in Philadelphia, PA to pursue his lifelong call of shepherding God's people. Witnessing much abuse of God's Word and people while growing up in the church birthed a core philosophy of ministry in him. He has determined that his ministry must be authentic, accurate, and accessible. During his time at Cairn University he discovered that he had a passion particularly for revitalizing and planting gospel-centered churches. After graduating with his Master of Divinity, Oldson continued his passion by enrolling in a two-year EPC Church Planting Residency just outside of Charlotte, NC. During this time of vigorous study and hands-on field experience, it was confirmed in his spirit and by his superiors, congregation, and EPC Church Planter's assessors, that God has called him to go plant and revitalize churches to God's glory. Oldson moved to Sacramento, CA six months ago. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to serve Hope Presbyterian Church and the people of Folsom.
