Each month of the year brings different community needs. That's why we offer multiple ways to love and serve our neighbors year round. If you're interested in helping, email Megan at megan@hopefolsom.org to get on the schedule as the times and needs can vary.
JANUARY - MARCH
Hope Church collects clothing and toiletries for HART, Folsom's rotating winter shelter so that they can provide support for our homeless neighbors during the harsh winter.
FEBRUARY
Hope Church collects food for the Twin Lakes Food Bank. Historically, February is when their pantries are most empty.
MARCH - APRIL
Easter hams are collected to give to the Twin Lakes Food Bank for their guests at Easter.
JULY
Hope Church collects backpacks for the Twin Lakes Food Bank. The backpacks are filled with appropriate school supplies for each grade level so that the children will have the supplies they need for a successful school year.
NOVEMBER
On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, Hope Church has been providing the Thanksgiving dinner for the Powerhouse Ministries family. Each year, we serve 250-300 guests!
DECEMBER
Hope Church provides gifts for the Christmas Around Towne store that residents of Powerhouse Ministries can "shop" for gifts for their family members.
